It's dark all around me but I can see a little dim light a few feet in front of me.
I see a guy in a cage, he is gripping the bars, pulling with all his might. He can't get out. He fails, just like I do all the time. A bloody hand reaches for the lock on the cage and then everything goes black and I hear a gut wrenching scream and I wake up sweating and terrified, just like every single night. The same terrifying soul awakening nightmare. I'm afraid to go to sleep now. I don't know what this dream means.
