Nick's POV.
My sister, Lilly was murdered 4 years ago at age 14. I don't like talking about it. I don't like thinking about it either. The bench just reminded me of the time we hung out here. I remember when we sat and ate ice cream on this here bench I was sitting on, on her birthday. I stopped thinking about, it hurt too much. I had to tell Annie. I got up from the bench and decided to walk back. Annie was with Becca and the babies at the picnic table. Once I got close, I ran up to Annie and she wrapped her hands around me with a soft kiss to my lips. "I'm sorry." I whispered. "It's fine but you are going to be in trouble of we don't leave now and the babies end up getting sick. A storm is coming." Annie said. "Right, I know. Let's go." I told them. I grabbed my little precious Lexi and Becca got Andrew because Annie had a head ace and didn't feel like carrying him. It started sprinkling. I looked up in the gray sky and saw little dark grey puffy clouds. All of the clouds were blocking the sun so it was dark outside. It made the world look very dark and depressed. Kind of scary but that's just my thoughts. The windows were down in the car so the rain made little puddles of water all over the sleek leather seats. I took my jacket off and wiped the seats down with it so, Annie and I didn't have to sit in water and get our butts wet. As soon as we got in, we rolled the windows up, making it very quiet and awkward. I didn't feeling like breaking the awkward tension in the room so I just sat and tried not to think about anything. I looked out the window and watched the leaves off of the tree blow swiftly in the wind and the little droplets of water pile up on the leaves making them damp of water. We arrived home shortly after. "Should I come in?" Becca asked, breaking the awkward silence. "Sure." Annie replied. We all ran inside together, trying to get inside before the babies got wet but of course the rain picked up faster and the babies ended up getting soaked and so did we. "I'm going to go change the babies upstairs." Annie spoke up softly. "Ok." I told her with a little smile on my face. "How about we make something to eat." Becca said. So Becca cut up some apples and got Carmel out. I made turkey sandwiches and some Macaroni. Becca and I were waiting at the kitchen table for Annie when we heard a gut wrenching high pitched scream come from upstairs...
