As I sit on my break, unhumbled by my praise less hard work, I type away on my phone, awaiting the impending doom that lied waiting for me at the end of my break...

That night I walk about the city, in my own pondering, I decide it was high time for a well deserved, at least from my view, vacation. Yet of course not without friends.

Of course in dreams there's usually no reason for things or any lead ins...

As we drive through the desert with Ale's spot on driving, we run up the wall with our Runner. Stuck without means to loosen ourselves, I comment about her driving and get out onto the building's crevice to try and push it off, in as much likeness as Borderlands as possible.

As I'm laughing and steadying myself as we both crack our jokes at one another, I stop and turn around... Something was strangely haunting about this crevice.. There's clearly a side wall yet no indication in the darkness to an end...

We return home as normal without a word of my strange feeling, passed off as my already known weird antics.

As weird as it is, I walk through the same streets I did before but something about this night was different... It was quieter... Suddenly I notice it... A huge claw piece stuck into the side of a building. Awestruck, I stared for a bit before examining it to find scales. I knew what it was...

It was a dragon...

I take a scale and rush home.

The next day I go to work trying as best as I can to convince everyone of my findings. Instead, they blamed me. My ability to turn into a wolf seemed to have gotten me an ill mannered reputation despite my good efforts.

I find myself denied of all ears, an outcast of abilities. However, my efforts seemed to have not been lonely...

A pair of young teenagers pass by, something telling me they have also tried and failed at all attempts to convince people. I follow them.

Atop a building they go, giggling and trying to silence each other. They reach the top and push the door open. I sneak in, managing to close the door silently with my inflexibly firm tail.

In the shadows I awaited their moves. A scent told me someone else was there. A young woman with short hair appeared.

"Sssshhh... He'a coming..." she silenced them with a whimsical smile. She turns around slowly and the dragon soars up the side of the building in front of her, landing next to her.

Apparently they were friends. I allowed them to talk and watched them leave. When I had my chance, I had to avenge the wrongs, kill for the killed, vanquish the evil they believed was me; but was I doing it to clear my name...?

I rush the giant dragon and nip at his armored neck. After managing to break some skin and shed some blood, I stop and step back, my unscarred eye watching in confusion as my blinded scarred one watched intensely.

He backed away with claws gripping his lightly torn flesh together. I lower my head in hesitance, ears perked forward. He whimpered.

Believing it to be feign, I stalk him quickly yet cautiously, shortening the distance between us. I finally corner him.

Funny thing, dreams... They cut off like you fell asleep at a movie theater...
