My friend Steve: What is the slenderman? I know he's a tall guy in a suit who stalks you and has no face but what is he?
Me: He's a German fairy, Der Großmann or Der Erlkönig. He is part if the game slender, based on the myths, and was actually created by someone on the Internet, but there have been accounts of him being seen/written about. So he is a myth; no-one can truly say for certain whether he is real of fake. Oh yeah, he also has tentacles.
Steve: Stop it! You're gonna scare me! I thought he was just part of a game!
