Men tell you to believe in yourself and that God loves you for who you are. Now it sounds right at first but is in fact very wrong. He loves you Because of who He is in spite of who you are. If you are a Christian you've been called to be conformed into the image of Christ and glory only in whom glory is due. That is in Him and not.in.yourself for whom you are! Comprende!? Don't take any pride in yourself. Why would you? If you've truly been redeemed by the Savior, you'll understand this! Christ didn't die for worthy sinners. Sinners are called into blessed salvation because HE DESERVES THEIR WORSHIP. Even our worth is defined by His worth. Does that mean God doesn't love us? No, God truly loves us. But we must understand this the right way around so all glory goes to Him.
