I remember being happy
Like a distant friend
But now it's become my enemy
Staying as far away as it can
I remember hope
Something I used to have
But it is now foreign to me
Something I can’t understand
I remember love
As I was once loved
But i’ve forgotten the feeling
Of being surrounded by loved ones
Now all I know is pain
Thats all I feel day by day
Struggling and stumbling through life
As I try and find my way.
