Know that I cannot let you in
That I can’t drag you into this messed up life
Can never love you as much as you love me
Can’t kiss the pain away
As the pain is always here to stay
I cannot let you fall in love with me
I’ll just be a burden to you
You’ll think you love me
But it will fade
When you realise
I’m not the type of person
That someone can easily love.
