“Alpha, alpha wolves in the woods,” Ryley told my father panting. I jumped up with my father and ran to the woods, only shifting when we were on the edge of the woods. As you may have noticed we are werewolves or the technical term, Shifters. This is our territory, we’ve been here for years, the role of Alpha passed down generation to generation. Once my father has died i will resume his role as Alpha, being his only child. We sniffed the air then ran to the wolves. We hid behind a bush observing their moves. They were all just teenagers and looked like a whole pack, they were all lounging around looking tired and some of them crying! Just as i scanned the crowd i laid my eyes on the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. She was in tattered clothes talking to a middle aged man, my wolf growled at the thought of this. She was pretty and she moved with cat like grace. She had long brown hair which was tied up into a high bun, everything about her was beautiful. I was so caught up in my thoughts i didn’t see my father change back into his human form and walk towards him. I quickly did the same and walked to his side. “I am Alpha Stanton, Alpha of this territory state your name and why you are here,” my father said using his Alpha voice.
