5 February 2013
Let's go off to Bangor,
Bangor-boats-away
Where we can spend an hour or two
Reliving a childhood
That all to fast was sped
In pickie parks and pedalos,
Fine swan shaped chariots,
Joy in hand,
In fist as we dart through fountains,
Sea brine spraying against our faces.
Yachts and sails
In fine display,
An array against the horses heads
Dancing in folly along the sand
Our sand,
Where we ran and picked and played.
Let's look over the bay again
At Bangor-boats-away
And we can go to laugh once more,
To laugh another day
