30 May 2012
I can feel the electric
Drawing near,
Smell the thunder
In the air,
Heady warning
In the gloom
That draws you into
The impending doom.
You want to run
And want to hide,
But want to feel the rain
Run in your eyes,
Feel Nature's lament
Spill through your hair
And shower yourself
In her electrified tears.
Her anguish slashing
The sky in two,
No mercy, no reason
Until she's through
As she pounds her fists,
Ragged and worn.
Hell hath no fury
Like a woman scorned
As she growls in frustration
At her dominion, afraid,
For her violation
A price will be paid.
But just for now
She'll watch in twisted glee
As her subjects quiver
At the ferocity to be.
