Once again Eurovision's
On the telly.
Come on Britain!
Give it some welly!
There've been Estonians in tinfoil
And Frenchmen with cats
Round their necks. Come on
We're better than that!
We've not won in donkeys
We've been in the sticks
Last year Jedward did better
They're just madmen with quiffs!
We've tried every trick
That there is the book:
Cheesiness, boy bands,
Lloyd-Webber even stopped
To the level of Euro
And now they will see
We are able to return
To our days of glory.
So tell us Britain,
Are you able to? Can ya
Restore our faith
In Rule Britannia?
Come on Blighty
Give it a bash
Or else just leave silently
While your dignity still lasts.
