I've been left alone with Herman
In my house, abandoned, forgotten ,
Just me a bubbling cake mix
Brewing, angry, plotting.
They say I have to feed him
But I'm afraid to approach,
He's not taken any action,
He's a bit of a slowcoach
But he's dangerous none the less
So I gingerly edge near.
A belch, a burst of a bubble
Only confirms my fears.
Tip in the flour,
The morsels of sugar and milk,
Then stir him round, don't disturb
Too much or treat him ill.
Now cover up and run
In case Vesuvius erupts.
You're such a silly D!
It's only cake batter, chicken much?
So I muster up my courage,
Tell him 'I'm watching you.
I don't want no funny business
I know what you're up to.'
Feeling like a boss,
Hero of the day
Until he starts to bubble again.
Think I'd better run.
