Little home birds a-chirping
In the cherry blossom tree
Perhaps when I return again
You'll sing that song again for me.
Let me borrow it 'til teatime
As the sun slips past the trees
So I can wear it all the day
And come back home with ease.
While the morning dawn is breaking
Won't you sing your blessings please?
So I can come back safely here
Oh home birds, sing for me.
