If fun then play

Was the order of the day

And everyone bathed in the sink

And nobody worried

And nobody hurried

Would we be happy, you think?

If we pulled down the daisies

And summer days hazy

Lasted the whole year round,

If we'd Hush-a-by mountain

And youthful fountains

And never a harsh word or sound,

If no-one was famished

And we were all lavished

With whatever we may need,

Without spats or squabbles,

Without incidents or wobbles,

Fairly without any greed.

A world without harm,

Linked arm in arm,

A utopia we all could enjoy

Where harmony reigned

And we all played Life's game

Without any trickery or ploy.

I hear you ask

How to accomplish this task

How to make this dream come true;

The trick my dear fellow

To attain this mellow

Is the key that lies within you.
