Sir Thomas and his Lady
Watch the silky blooms;
Dew-kissed pastel petals
And bright floral bursts too.
25,000 roses
In this hoi-polloi
Raising their beautiful heads
To the shouts of joy
As little boys and little girls
Run through Nature's maze,
Perfume heavy in the air
Through the summer haze.
A week full of happiness
With the young and old
To celebrate the roses
The delicate and bold.
