Summer was a care-free girl
And Spring, she was her friend.
She lingered here for three months
The capricious soul. She'd send
Warm raindrop kisses
To heal the wilting wheat
And soothing rays to revive
As she ran in poppy fields.
All nature turn their faces
To her darling smile
Knowing they would only see her
For a little while.
Then, she met Autumn
Who made Summer fall,
Wooing her, enticing her
To follow his call.
Then one night he took her
And stained the trees' leaves red
As Summer's blood met forest floor
And Summer withered, dead.
Now she haunts his wicked world,
Winter is her name.
A snow queen with no mercy
Who each year kills her old flame.
