Dearest Diary, let's see then
Today's our day off in the old D-Den.
Putting our feet up, watching the games,
Our three bomber chickens doing the same.
The ladies' road race to be precise
And all the girls are doing rather nice.
Armitsted up with Vos and that Russian
Won't try to say her name, the effort's crushin'.
Gliding along, doing swell,
All seemed rather well.
When, what have we here in my sights?
Another puncture? That can't be right!
Take a closer look and you can see
Pin tacks on the American's wheel!
Foul play is most definitely afoot
