So I prepared the turnip, Lived to tell the tale, Got the turnipy t-shirt (I bought it in the sale) But one thing I will say Is turnips? Never again. They're the most cumbersome veggie you will find, They cause unbelievable pain. A whole flipping hour I struggled To tame that tough old beast, Meat cleavers, sharp knives, a pneumatic drill Until my anger released And I ran at it stabbing. Only then would it yield, That flipping stupid turnip Should have just stayed in its field! So while I emerge unscathed physically I'll only say one bit of garble, Avoid turnips at all costs Before they make you lose your marbles!
