I wonder is our weather
Caused by our British frame of mind?
And if we were more positive
Would we live in warmer climes?
Take the US for example,
Capital of positivity,
Always offering fries with that,
Generally much more cheery.
In Florida and sunny West Coast
Especially California
They seem to always catch some rays.
Also, take Australia
G'day mate, light up the barbie
They always seem so easy going
With no room for negativity
No grumps, no groans, no whining.
So perhaps if in Britain
We smiled and said a nice things again
The sun would smile right back at us
And we'd not have any rain.
