So, if you haven't read or seen any of them, this is what each is about:
Philosophers/Sorcerers stone: We are introduced to most of the main characters, we find out Harry is a wizard, we go to hogwarts, we learn a few simple spells, we defeat a troll, we get through crazy puzzles and finally get to see the thing behind what gave Harry his forehead scar.
Chamber of secrets: We come back to hogwarts, learn more spells, try and find what's petrifying mudbloods, we eventually find the chamber of secrets, confront a basilisk and meet the young Tom Marvolo Riddle.
Prisoner of Azkaban: We find out who Harrys god father is, learn that a teacher is a werewolf, find out the truth about Ron's rat, learn that Harry doesn't have to live with his terrible aunt, uncle and cousin.
Goblet of fire: We battle dragons, find clues, save our friends from evil merpeople, battle through a death maze, watch our friend get killed, find out a teacher isn't who he says he is.
Order of the Phoenix: Here we find out about the secret organisation 'order of the Phoenix'. We see our god father die beyond a veil and prove to the ministry that he who must not be named is really back.
Half blood prince: We find out a teacher is on the opposite side, see the death of our beloved headmaster, find the first of many horcruxes.
Deathly hallows: The final battle between good and evil! We find some enemies are really our friends, see many people die to save the wizarding world, we destroy every last horcrux, we see our heroes in the future with the next generation!
