Life flashes by,
Picture after picture,
My whole life,
Looking so much richer,
So many things were lost,
Hiding in between,
Now I can see the cost,
My life was like a dream,
Heading for the water,
At lightning pace,
Looking at the surface,
Seeing the dread on my face,
Feels like concrete when I crash,
And it's so so deep,
But seeing my life flash,
Is the thing that made me weep.
