She's lying on her hospital bed, Holding out her hand, In a day I know that she'll be dead, In heaven she'll land.
I remember the days, Sharing secrets and stories, But here she still she lays, While I cry over memories.
She's so strong and been through a lot, But cancer has swallowed her, But now were tied in a knot, I'll never forget what we were.
To a close family friend, and all cancer sufferers.
