I was up so high,

Flying with wings in tact,

And we all know why,

My angelic act,

I had never thought,

That I would swoop down,

But with the love you brought,

I could never even frown,

I came crashing, tumbling,

Falling helplessly for you,

The constant mumbling,

Trying to escape your woo,

Nothing is awkward,

Tense or complicated,

We are moving forward,

And so long you have waited,

I'm home in your arms,

But I'm lost in your eyes,

Together linked palms,
