Wake up.
There's the door. Is there a ring to it? Someone could be there. But I don't think so. I don't think there is anyone there. But you go there anyway. You open it. Nothing is there, just like I told you. So you close the door and walk away. But your curiosity strikes at your mind and you find yourself walking back to the door. You open it once again. But this time, someone stands in the doorway. A man is dressed in fancy clothing and displays a gay smile across his face.
This is Temptation.
"Hello there sir." He says.
You reply with "Hello" and you take a step back.
"Do you enjoy your life?" Temptation says.
"I do," you say.
"Here, have a cigarette." Temptation holds death in his palm and tries to hand it to you.
"I don't smoke."
"Why ever not? It helps you enjoy life."
"But I already enjoy my life. I just said that."
Temptation jumps back.
"Oh do you? Well then."
Temptation walks away and you close the door. But you don't stop there. You decide to open it for one last time. You do. But there is no man there. Just a tree and a sunset. You walk out the door and stand in front of the tree. You read the engraving etched on the trees exterior.
Love it says. Love.
You just stand there and gaze upon it. You feel the warmth of the fading sunset and the swift breeze as God gives the earth a good blow of wind. You feel at ease and peace. You don't care about Temptation. You don't care about the door. You care about what is standing right in front of you. And you soon realize it has been right outside your door this whole time.
