The lord of the rings was written in the 1950's by J.R.R Tolkien it has a fasanating storyline with lots of twists and turns.
However there is a bad point when you start reading the book it takes quite a long time got some action and adventure. Altogether it is a great book and I would rate it a 9.5/10
