What is wrong with a dream?

Why does people say keep on dreaming. They say it with a smile as if the thoughts in their mind are " you should live in reality, your dreams aren't going to help you"

And I think of people who said the same and made their dreams come true. I look up to those people and not to the people who say good luck in a sarcastic way.

My dream is my goal in life and even though I hear " yeah, right" more often than " you should hold on to it" I never stop making it real.
