Chapter 34
He slept most of the day. I wanted to call a doctor but he told me angels heal fast.
So I sat on that bed. Thinking of what had happened to him. Maybe he killed John or scared him of. But Cathy and Mark left a few minutes before James had arrived. The only thing they told me was ' you are lucky'.
I looked at James and saw that he actually was healing and it went very fast. He could sleep on his stomach. His back was all fine.
When it was, I couldn't remember but I fell asleep. I was tiered yet I woke up early for him. But when I woke up again he was gone. Then I geared the shower.
I sat on the bed for a while. He came out of the bathroom. He looked fine. His soft skin was not damaged and he was not hurt. I smiled at him and he smiled back.
" you look okey". I had no idea what to tell him. " yeah, I had that terrible nightmare, no it was reality. Baby I am fine". He said with a playful smile.
I walked downstairs and I noticed the weather. It was raining. The rain fell on the sand and I could hear it on the windows.
James came down wearing sweatpants and a blue t-shirt. His hair was a bit wet but he looked so beautiful. I didn't know what else I could say about him.
He came towards me and gave me a hug. " thank you for taking care of me". He said to me as I was in his arms. I couldn't let him go. I wanted to hug him all day.
" I was worried, you and John. What happened?". Despite the thought of me being hungry I wanted to find out more.
" he ran away. But he will come back". James said disappointed. " today?". I asked. " no, he can't fly in the rain. But he can come any time he likes when the sun is down". He said looking me in the eyes. I stopped hugging him. I stood in front of him with questioning eyes. But he answered my question.
" I don't know what to do. But I will try my best to keep you safe". He said it with that voice again and I wondered what had happened if I went with John last night.
