Chapter 15
"Hello angel!". He said while he took my bags and put them on the backseat. " really? I am the angel here". I said it with a smile. All I wanted wad to have fun with him. The trip to LA is long and we had to forget everything we fought about. Otherwise we would end up as enemies.
" do you have a list?". He looked me deep in the eyes as if I knew what list he was talking about. " song list, you know, for the trip". " no, didn't think about that very much". I said it with a cold voice. Me and him had a wired relationship. We kissed, had amazing moments and then fought about stupid secrets.
" let's roll!". He gave me a sweet kiss of his and put his shades on. Then started the engine and before I knew it we were out of town.
The road was empty. The road was long in front of us. Yet he didn't complain about him driving all the way.
" we will take 5 stops". He said while he focused on the road. " we will have to sleep in a bed and breakfast, get the car some fuel and eat". He had it all planned out.
We didn't talk much. I stared out side. Million things ran in my mind. My brother didn't come first, my parents did. What would they do? Report I was kidnapped? Of course they would, I am their only daughter. Then came Mark. Was John ready to tell him the truth or was he dead already?
James made the rest of my brain wonder about him. How was he going to save my brother?
" what are you thinking about?". Now what? Could he read my mind? " everything". I said in a low voice, not taking my eyes from the window. " you can't do that! Everything?! You must have a big brain". He was making fun of me. He wanted to make the best out of this situation.
I smiled, what was true love after all? Wasn't it to be loved back, to be fought for, to make each other happy? Cause if that was it, I already had it.
" what are you thinking about". I asked him. " how we are going to share a bed tonight". He answered with a playful smile. " why?". " why not? Do you mind sleeping in the same bed with me?". He was my boyfriend, I thought, was that not normal to do?
" are we a couple?". I asked him. " of course we are silly!". He was laughing at me now. " well! Why are you worried?". I asked him to find out more. " cause if other angels found out. Hell will break loose". " why is that?". " enough, ok?". He said with a serious voice.
We kept on driving In silence. The sunset was magical. We stopped at a gas station to buy food, he came back with two sandwiches and two drinks. " I got to make you eating right". He said.
