Chapter 23
Continued........
After we finished breakfast we took a look out side the window, just staring at the ocean.
" do you want to go?". I asked. " where?". He asked with a smile. He looked so glad that I was there in front of him. " I need to go shopping, the sea is right over there. And just show me the shops I can go by myself if you want". I said looking at him, thinking if he ever looked this beautiful.
" sure, I need to talk to my uncle so I am going to visit him while you are there".
He showed me that mall. Kissed me goodbye and told me he would meet me in two hours.
The mall was not empty but few people were there. I grabbed my blue wallet in my hand and walked to a nice, huge store.
As I looked through clothes I realized I have to buy stuff.
Then I saw nice pair of shorts. I took two but different colors. Then I saw a blue top and a green t-shirt. Those would do. I saw the underwear department and thought of how I need more underwear.
I spent an hour at that store. I got help when I needed it and the staff was so friendly.
I walked out of the store and there she was. Cathy.
" what are you doing here?". I was choked to see her here. She was with John. She would tell him and he will hunt us down.
" my parents, they are here on a business trip. I came along cause it is Australia! Anyway my parents heard from yours that you were missing. What is going on?". She stood there in that pink t-shirt and black shorts. Wearing a pair of white shoes.
" I have to go, I can no t explain-". That hand on my waist made me stop.
" Cathy, how wonderful and weird to see you here". James had an voice I have never heard before. He was scared. He held me tightly and was standing next to me.
" well, well, well, so you ran away with your boyfriend?". Cathy said staring at us with a smile I recognized. She smiled just like John.
