Chapter 36
He looked at me and studied my face. He gave me a smile and told me he was only 14.
" so, do you like living here?". I asked him this cause I didn't know who to start a conversation with a stranger.
" it's nice". It was the only thing he said. Then he walked to the living room. I heard him ask James if I was an angel. But James said no I was only human.
Their grandma started talking. " we can't keep her here forever James. You have to let her go". She said in a low voice so I wouldn't be able to hear it but I did.
" you can go to heaven and find another girl there. Girls in heaven are perfect". Ryan was the one who said that. " I love Alice, and I will keep fighting for her". He said in a low angry voice. " are you willing to die for her? Is that it? Do you want her to go with John after you die?leaving me and Ryan behind". She said it in a disappointed voice.
So that was it? I was standing in the middle. It was either me or him. Me or his family. I couldn't ruin his life. He was a great guy and he deserved the best. So I made my decision.
Ryan and his grandma went after an hour. After I heard their conversation I walked to the living room and sat down. I didn't care if I was silent. I just was thinking if the thing I was about to do was the right thing.
" Alice are you okey?". James shut the door and then turned around to look at me. " to be honest no. Can we kiss?". I was about to kiss him without him answering yes or no. But I stopped. I wanted him to answer.
He came towards me put his hands on my waist. Hugged me tightly and kissed me as I was holding him around his neck.
A thought came to me. Am I going to make a mistake?
