Chapter 57
It was 12 and it seemed like lunch time here. We sat in the cab and every cafe in the city was full. What a beautiful place. The old buildings and the ocean. I couldn't wait to see it all.
" Alice you look so excited. Calm down, we have plenty of time". He said laughing.
I smiled back, knowing he was right. I was so happy, the thought of us being two. The cab stopped in front of the hotel.
The hotel looked old but it was modern inside. Leather couches in the lobby and nice flowers all over the place. We checked to see which room we got. It was in the third floor and had an amazing view. The city was near the ocean. And the hotel was in front of the harbor.
" see that boat?". James asked as we were in our room. It was a simple room with old curtains and a nice bed. It was too hot to wear jeans so as I was changing I asked. " what about that boat".
" well its mine, and we are going to take it to be alone". He said smiling.
I smiled and thought of the way he might have changed his mind. After I changed to shorts and him changing to pants less thick we went out to get some food to eat.
We were starving, and food. Food were everywhere. We went in and ordered a huge pizza. We ate it all in silence.
" we are monsters! Where is my drink". I asked as I looked at my empty glass.
" your third glass of soda is gone". He laughed when he said it. " go you want ice cream?". He asked. " yeah, sure lets go for a walk". I said smiling back. We payed, or he did and we walked out.
We walked along the harbor. Till we saw an ice cream shop. " what do you want?". He asked while we looked at the menu.
" James, I know. She wants me". A voice behind us said.
