Chapter 58
I turned slowly around to face John. He was wearing sunglasses and his blond hair was even blonder in the sunlight.
" I knew you two would be here. What a surprise! I want ice cream too". He said. Then he hugged James. James's arms didn't move. Then James turned back to me. And hugged me, his hug was nothing but by reflex I hugged him back.
" leave John, I don't want to make a scene here". James said as he looked at him.
" next please!". The woman in the shop said. " yeah James! Let's order some ice cream.. The weather is hot. Don't you think?". And as he said that. James punched him in the face. John fell on the floor. People eating looked at him. A guy stood up to see even better.
" out!! Both of you. Get out side!". The woman said. And John stood up and spat on the floor. The blood made me sick.
" what is wrong with you James?". John asked as we were outside. I stood a foot away from them. They were looking each other in the eyes with anger only.
" me? I am fine.. I am not here to ruin a relationship". James said. " you did that long time ago. In fact you ruined a family. My family!". John said taking a step near James.
" it was not what I intended". James said it looking at me then he turned back to John.
" we shall meet tonight John". James said with a low angry voice.
" and leave her alone". John gave me a sad look. I didn't know what to say so I just stood there, looking at him.
Then he left and left me with James.
