Chapter 27
I wanted to open the door, run in his arms. And be glad that my only brother was here. But then I heard James.
" Mark? You can't be here.. You just can't. How did you even get here". James had questions in his mind as well. " listen, I don't care about your stupid questions. You are a jerk for kidnapping my sister!". Mark was angry with James. " what did John tell you". James asked calmly. " John, well he is a friend. And he is with me". Mark said what? " what are you talking about". James was wondering the same thing as I am. " I am Mark. A demon. And I am here to bring Alice home to John". He said. " but you are her brother". " yes I am. I made a deal with a demon. He took my life as a human and I took his as a demon. He didn't want to live with that curse, but I did". Mark explained slowly and I understood every bit.
I looked back at the time me and him were close as brother and sister. He stopped when I met John. He cared less and he got strange when I was around. He could not be a brother of mine anymore.
" how could you!!". I walked out of that bedroom stood in the middle of them. " good to see you Alice". Mark said with a smile. " I am not your sister,you soulless demon!". I said to him in a cold voice.
" Alice, please go back in there". James wanted me to be safe and I wanted nothing more than that but this had to end.
" Alice hear me out. I am your brother, Mark. I care about you. And I want you to be happy and you probably will if you go to John and leave that piece of shit behind you". He looked at me but I looked at him in a second then slapped him in the face.
" he is my love and I hate you and John and even Cathy for doing this to me!! Can't you see I am happy with him?!". I said as tears started to fall down on my cheeks. Hot tears fell from my eyes.
" don't cry, go inside". James said as he pointed at the room. " do not listen to him. He will not make you his bitch!". He grabbed my wrist. Marks hand was cold, just as his heart.
" don't touch her!!". James pushed him and Mark fell on the floor.
