Chapter 30
He held me around my waist. I could see the balcony under my feet. Then I closed my eyes again.
I felt every breath he took in. And as I opened my eyes we were far away from the ground.
The sky was all that I can see. I was thankful I wore this hoodie. It was not cold but to be this high from the ground was.
" do you like it?". He asked. I looked around and said yes. " no baby look closely above you". And as I did I saw them. The sky was shining. The stars looked so beautiful from here. I just held him as I looked up.
" well...?". He asked as he slowly removed one hand from my waist and started to smooth my hair. " that was beautiful. I can't even put a word on it".
He shook his head with a smile on his lips. Then he came closely and kissed me. That kiss under the stars and while we were flying was the best of the best kisses.
He planned this. He really did and I was clueless. My mind forgot about the world for a moment.
As he flew home I remembered something. The demons could be out. Or in our house. Then I realized we were not flying back to the house.
There it was the beach. There were candles on the sand and the moon light was out.
" you thought the night ended now didn't you?". He asked with a smile.
" yes, I kind of did. But why are you doing this?". I had no idea if this was a way of keeping the demons out of our night or he had something going on.
" Alice, it's your birthday. And by the way you can let me go now cause we are on the sand". He said it as his wings got smaller and smaller. Then he pulled out a t-shirt.
" want to dance?". He reached for my hand but I stood there. Then I saw him and said; " I am forgetting time. Forgetting the world.
As soon as you said you are mine. I knew exactly where we stood.
You are sweet and nice. I know you are the one don't need to think twice.
You are perfect for me. Even though this you can't see.
You made me be a part of a love story. Not like the other ones don't worry.
Ours are more perfect and true. Cause I am not dreaming with you.
It's reality and I love it. And in my heart you fit.
I love your sweet talk and sweet smile.
I just could stare at it forever, not for a while.
You are my guy and I love you. Cause you are my sweet angel and this is for you. "James!! Look behind you!".
