Chapter 12 James side:
I kissed her deeply and l simply left. What was wrong with me? I loved her, couldn't live without her.
The streets were empty. It was so dark and the sky was starting to sparkle. I walked in this park. Stood there long enough to see that nobody was there.
My wings started to come out. As they did they got bigger and bigger. My white wings always made two small openings in my shirts. As they were complete I started to fly. My feet lifted slowly and as I got up there I saw two black wings.
" what are you doing here?". John asked James. " same as you". I answered with sharpness in his voice. I wanted to make it clear to John I will never let him take his hands on Alice ever again.
" you know, she loved me". Was he drunk? James knew demons and their behaviors. " she even wanted me in bed..". Was he messing around? I didn't even to question that, cause he was. " shut up! Stop doing this to us. You could have had her before but you didn't. Remember what happened that night?".
" James, James, James.. That was a long time ago. Can't you just get over it?". " I won't cause thanks to you she can't ever come to haven with me! She can't even see it, ever!!". I said it within anger. The moon was out and it let me see his face. " hahaha, here we go again! Can't you just live in the moment?". He was impossible. " your last chance, I will never want to see your face!". I said it and turned away. " should I tell her?". He asked with his drunken voice. " what?" " what really happened.. Why she should stay away from me,why she can't go to heaven and live with you there". " no, it's not the right time". I said it and flew away from him.
I flew back to her place. Her window was slightly opened. But her room was dark.. Was she sleeping? " are you asleep sweetheart?". I asked her in a low voice. Her window was easy to open for me. I had enough energy.
" you know, I can't sleep without you. It's a new thing". She said it with a smile. " did you not sleep at all? It's 3.20". I was worried about her. She shouldn't be in this. It wasn't her fault. " so, what did you guys do up there?". She asked me with a calm voice.
" he will not disturb us ever again". I managed to put on a smile.
Then, I kissed her. I kissed her with all of my heart. She kissed me back and I felt her heart beat. I pulled her closer, then I put my arms around her small waist. I felt her hands on my neck, then on my back. I wanted her so bad, but I couldn't. As soon as she started to pull away to the bed I stopped. " I can't do this tonight, time will be right". " I won't pressure you". She said and we both laughed. " come with me". I took her hands in mine. " where?". " to the sky". I answered with a smile.
