Chapter 15
I parked the car in front of the flower shop. It was early and I was the one opening the shop. I took the keys from my pocket and opened the door. I got welcomed by the smell of summer. It was like summer in a shop. Flowers everywhere. The colors and the cool stuff around the place made me love it even more.
I walked and started to take flowers out of the store. Turned the lights on and made sure the place looked beautiful as it always was. An hour later Emma came and worked with me. She helped costumers and I was cleaning and putting new flowers around. The day went by fast.
It was 17.00. I worked there since 10.40. I really overslept that morning. I drove back home and when I walked inside I smelled food. It smelled so good. And I knew it was pizza. " hey". He said. He was smiling and he had flour on his cheek. I ran to him. Gave him a hug and kissed him on the cheek. He warped his arms around me. " is it because I made food?". I laughed. Still in his arms. I felt safe and happy. I didn't want him to let me go. " come eat now". He said as he took my hand. We ate that meatball pizza in minutes. He was hungry too. That was why I asked him " what did you do today?". I wanted to know. He looked up and smiled. " oh, I was working. People are friendly here". He said as he looked outside. " I know, that's why I love it here". We sat there for minutes.
After we were done we left the kitchen and the dishes in the table. We didn't care. I wanted to get in bed. Just to lay there cause I was so tiered. That always happened. Every first day of work.
