Photography: art that holds a memory. From the instant I got my first little compact camera - I thought it was the best camera in the world - I was in love with how the lens created so much beauty. Capture after capture, shot after shot, I was amazed by what I could get. Photography can be used to explore the world, capture a memory or make a statement. It is part of most people's lives and can hold more emotion and information than you can possibly describe. No words are needed.

At a party, a celebration, a significant event, a camera is always seen about. That one snapshot that can explain a whole day! A picture can show pure joy and jealousy simulateously. This incredible art form is taking over.

Ron Galella (the first person to be classed as Papparazzi) began using photography to mark moments on the timeline and to show the public the inside scoop on celebrities lives. Without any colour or exceptional technology Ron still managed to keep every emotion present in his shots. The advertisement of his unusual and almost stalkerish passion caused the development of our modern-day Papparazzi. Just one man made a whole army.

Most people say photography is easy, just a button-click and you've got it. That isn't the case. Not in professional photography. A photo is a special and unique blend of content, lighting and composure. It's as precise as the food in a 5 star restaraunt. That shot, the perfect mixture, can take years to perfect. You either have it or you don't. An artistic flair is what is needed.

Every photographer has a different style that is used to identify them and their pictures. Some use it as a protest or to create an awareness of certain issues like poverty. If someone came and gave you a 3 hour speech on poverty would you listen? If someone showed you a photo of a starving, crying child would you look?

Finally, photography can make you think. Pictures of animals, plants or nature in general make you wonder how such intricate beings were created. Photos of places and landmarks and buildings highlight how important and huge our country and planet really is. Capturing a poor family next to a wealthy community can stress just how strong the hierarchy is within the human race. That picture can be here for a lifetime or longer. Click! Got you.
