An hour and a half later, I was sitting curled up next to Jason, watching the countryside of Yorkshire speed past my train window. I had actually packed quite a lot given that I was only going to be gone one night- two at most. I had just wondered around my room, systematically folding and packing, my mind elsewhere, trying to answer questions such as: WHY WAS I IN LOVE WITH JASON??? There was no reason for us to be in love, yet there was no question, we were. What would my mother think? What did she know about us? This one in particular bothered me, so I pulled out my earplugs and asked.
“Jason? What did you say on the phone to my mum?”
“I said my name was Jason, I was your boyfriend, and she invited us up to London.”
“Right… Does she know that we only met two days ago?”
“No. I didn’t have a chance to tell her that, and I probably wouldn’t have anyway… something tells me she may not like that.”
“Yeah… Lets just say we met at the beginning of the year.” I dint mention the things he had done. I trusted him. I loved him. Bringing that up was unnecessary I turned back to the window to catch the last glimpses of the countryside as buildings came back into view. I had a feeling it might seem a while until I saw it again.
