Paperclip. Holding my memories. Keeping them in their place. Reminding me of things gone by.
Paperclip. Creasing the photograph of you in my diary. I wanted to keep it perfect. I wanted a memento to keep safe and sound.
Paperclip. Holds together all that I live for. Always keeps you close to me. Such a simple thing.
I take a trip down Memory Lane. Taking you all out as I go, being so careful not to mess with what I hold dear.
Paperclip. Don't let these memories fade away. Keep them in check or I will be forever lost.
I wish you could be back here with me. Make my diary a happy place of refuge instead of this solitary confinement of paperclips and memories.
