It took me a while, but it's long and pretty legendary :) x Warning: Sexual references, underage drinking and one swear word. I know, I'm a bad girl ;)
The house was massive, in a creamy sort of beige colour, with red terracotta tiles on every slant and slide of the roof. The entrance was a single, thick wooden door, with a little window to see into the hallway. I took Drew's hand and linked it with mine, my other hand going to cover her eyes. "Shut your eyes" I whispered, as if it wasn't obvious by my actions what I wanted her to do. I pushed my body gently into hers, nudging her forward a step. She did as silently asked, and began to walk without knowing where she was going. I brought my hand to her hip, guiding her over to the front door. "Oh, uh, sorry. One sec" I chuckled, realising I has forgotten to take the keys out of my pocket. "May I?" she spoke up. "Uh, sure". I handed her the keys, and took my hand away from her eyes so she could unlock the door. She pushed it open, the sound of the handle echoed throughout the entire house, an ear-splitting noise through the usual silence. I kept her body clasped to mine partly out of enjoyment, but also for guidance as we walked through the hall, shoes making the most gentle of clicking noises on the wooden-boarded floor. I'd been here before. Me and my Mom. A while back. It was one of the fanciest, yet homeliest houses we had ever been in. Everything was woody colours, or natural colours. Nothing red or black or pink could be found in the entire place. It was soft, natural colours throughout the house. Wooden beams lined every entry-way into each room. Drew's mouth dropped at the pure beauty of it. It seemed a bit like a house in Texas, but way, way, way more fancy and expensive. "It's amazing!" she gasped, before running into the one of many living rooms, through the kitchen, dining room, OTHER living room (with a flat screen TV on the wall and REALLY comfy sofas) and then out and up the stairs. Phew. This was gonna be a long day.
After Drew examined the entire house - including the corral where two prize-winning thoroughbreds are kept ;) - she collapsed onto the long blue cotton sofa, in front of the TV. "You ok Tex?" I asked, entering the kitchen area, looking over at the small girl spread out on the couch. I shrugged off my black drawstring jacket, setting it down on the counter top. She didn't reply. I stepped around the counter island and jogged over to her side. "Texxy. Babe wake up" I chuckled, poking her side gently. Nothing. Alright, game on Texas. I leaned in and pressed my lips to her neck, kissing her gently for a while, until she mumbled in sign of her consciousness. She squealed when she realised what I was doing, giggling and squirming in my tight grip on her hips. "Aahh! Justin! Stop it!" she blushed rose pink, her hand at the back of my neck, pulling me closer instead of pushing me away. Ahh. It was gonna be a good couple of months ;). "Justin...." she began to whisper "Don't be an ass" she said seriously, before bursting out into giggles. I took my lips away from her neck, acting highly offended by her words. "Right, baby you asked for it" I smiled, lifting her off the sofa and out the sliding doors. "Justin please don't" she begged when she realised I was heading for the pool. "Nah you're going in" I chuckled menacingly, not detecting the pure nervousness in her tone. "Justin don't! Don't throw me in, please!" she pleaded as I moved her body into a bridal position. "I'm not gonna throw you in babe" I smiled, standing at the edge of the clear, ice blue water. "You're not?" she furrowed her brow. "No. We're both going in" I grinned, and she began to say something when I jumped. The water rushed past our bodies, cold and icy, as the heater hadn't been on since Usher last came here (So, months). I came up from the surface, taking in a deep breath and moving my arms and legs so I stayed afloat. Wait. Where was Drew? I spun around. "Drew?". I looked for her at the sides of the pool. Nothing. Suddenly, she appeared beside me, gasping for needed breath and splashing around in the cold chlorine. "Drew!" I exclaimed, reaching out and taking her small body in my hands. I pulled her into me, her legs hooked around my hips, hands on my shoulders. She briefly removed them to rub the water from her eyes. "Drew, you ok?" I asked, kind of concerned. What was wrong? She looked really upset. "No, no I'm not ok Justin. I can't swim" she whisper breathed, unable to take in enough air to speak with volume. Oh. Oops. Oops? She can't swim dude and you just threw her in REALLY deep water. "Oh shit. I'm sorry Tex" I began to babble as she held onto me tightly, still afraid of the water surrounding her. She didn't say anything for what seemed like ages. "I'm sorry baby girl, I didn't know" I tried again, brushing her hair out of her upset face. "Just get me out of here" she muttered into my shoulder, still clinging on for dear life. I did as she asked, swimming to the side with her in my arms, and climbing out. Now I felt bad. That was really stupid. I should have known that. I'm her best friend. I should know little things like this. I carefully carried her through the house and up the stairs, making it my goal not to slip. She let out a little mumbley sort of moan "Justin, I'm cold" she began to shiver in my arms, and I picked up the pace as I fast-walked through the bedroom and into the bathroom. I set her down on the counter top, brushing off most of the water with a towel. She mumbled a thank you. "You're welcome baby girl". Right. Clothes. Shit. They're still in the car. I turned back to Drew. She sat there, short, thin clothes clinging to her body. She looked freezing. I'll have to go get them. I checked my pockets for the keys. Oh you've gotta be kidding me. Without explaining to Drew, I ran back in the bedroom, and pushed open the balcony doors. If you squinted really hard, you could just about see the metallic glint from the bottom of the pool. Shit. Stupid keys. Stupid pockets with no zips. I mean seriously, what's the point of having a pocket with no zips? "Justin?" Drew's shaky voice came to me from the bathroom door. I spun around, and saw her clinging to her own cold body, doing everything she could to keep warm. "Can I go get my clothes?". I couldn't help but chuckle. "You can, but you'll have to go back in the pool to do it" I gestured behind me as I wandered over to her. She automatically understood what I had meant, and groaned. "Well, I'm not staying in these" she sighed, pulling her clothes a few inches off her body so they wouldn't stick. Didn't I have a jacket downstairs? Yeah, I took it off earlier. She could at least have that. "I got a jacket downstairs. Come on" I smiled, going to take her hand. She pulled it away from me. Ok, that hurt, but I threw her in the pool and dropped the keys, so I guess I deserved it. "Drew" I raised my eyebrows in a look. She rolled her eyes and took my hand as I had wanted her to. I tugged her down the stairs, our wet feet slapping against the wooden floor until we stopped at the kitchen. My jacket lay untouched on the kitchen counter. God it looked warm. Still, I'd rather me freeze to death than Drew. "Well..." she raised her eyebrows. What? What did she want? "Uh, turn around" she couldn't bite back the giggle that came with her words. "Why do I need to turn around. You're putting on a jacket not getting naked" I chuckled, thinking I was the smartest guy in the world with that clever comment. When she raised her eyebrows at me, I realised I was right. "You're getting naked" I stated, trying to make sense of the words that came from my mouth. "Drew, why are you getting naked?". This is too much to handle. I can barely handle her when she's wearing clothes, let alone getting briefly naked to put on a jacket. This is just... Insane. "Like I said, I'm not staying in these clothes. They feel horrible, so unless you want to dive to the bottom of that freezing cold pool again, I'll be wearing nothing but your jacket". Damn she had a point. I really didn't want to dive to the bottom of the pool again. At least not until the heater had warmed it up. Errrr. I can't handle this. This is just too much. This is wrong. Oh god. "Turn around" she made a spinning motion with her hand, clearly acting out what she wanted me to do. I turned to face the window, looking out at the sun slowly dipping below the horizon, casting an orange-yellowish glaze over the landscape. It was hard to concentrate. It was the hardest thing I'd ever done, not looking at her, and I'm not proud of it. I should have no problem with facing away from her whilst she changed into nothing but my jacket. I should be fine with it, because we're good friends. Right now, I wish she was more. I wish she was mine so it wouldn't even matter if I turned around. She should be mine. Not Frank's or Dwight's or anybody's. Mine. My baby girl <3 "Done" she stated, shaking me from my thoughts. I blinked a few times, finding it hard to stop thinking of her in my arms. "Huh?" I blabbed without thinking. "I said I'm done" she stated. "Oh right". Awkward silence. "Justin, you can turn around, it's ok, I'm not naked". "I'd rather not". "Why not?". "Cuz I'm gonna stare, and I don't want to be abused for that". She giggled gently, before pressing her body tight to my back, speaking sexily in my ear "Then keep your eyes, where they should be. Kay babe?" she said sweetly, before pecking my cheek, and skipping off. I spoke aloud to myself, my voice barely a whisper "Sweet baby Jesus" xD.
"I really am sorry Tex, I didn't know you couldn't swim" I apologised for the seventeenth time that night as I carried two mugs of hot cocoa over to the pale blue sofa, where Drew sat, hugging the seahorse cushion she had recently fallen in love with. I placed my mug down on a coaster and handed Drew's to her, averting my gaze from her jacket-clad body. It stopped at around mid-thigh, and she h
