To stand at the flaming gates of hell, feeling terrified, an empty shell, while the dark armies of demons, flying towards you, yell their dark omens.
To feel true eternal love, so unconditional, You'll let it eat you alive. Being strong enough to confront the tide, and to trust someone you don't know, without cringing.
To stand up against a rushing hoarde she's sent, with nothing but love for her, and feeling them beat you and chain your limbs bent, without as much as muttering.
Shake in uncontrollable ache, not even thinking of running. No fear of death, only the longing. Honesty to say you're afraid.
Honesty to share your pain, at the risk of being rediculed. To let them pour gasoline over your chains, with a smile on your face, as the match is lit.
Staring death in the eye, and laughing at it's cry. Fear of everything around. Not making a single sound.
We all have the potential to be brave.
