I can't sleep tonight, I'm afraid to turn out the light, I think I'll hide under my covers, I'll stay out of sight
There's a shadow on my wall, I'm hearing strange noises, The monsters are coming.. Can you not hear the voices
I'm scared to sleep tonight, My covers are my only protection. I'll peek out a gap.. What's that... Oh it's just a mirror and my own reflection
As I clutch on tight to a teddy, The morning has come already And I'm no longer breathing heavy, As i'm controlling it nice and steady
It's time to sleep now, Let me rest my eyes.. I'll have dreams so sweet now But will wake and just maybe.. I'll see the sun rise
