As I walked towards the end of the dark twisty lane, alone I was, it didn't quite feel the same..
It was late, the horses in the field were silent in their stables,
An itch on my neck.. But when I checked.. It was just my t-shirt label..
I threw my last empty can in a nearby bush, mumbling to myself.. stumbling as if I kept getting pushed..
No battery on my phone, the time..?? It must be late...
Suddenly I heard a cars brakes screech.. I shit myself.. I was in an awful state..
A moment of silence... suddenly from the car came a speech... "You got a light mate...?" Then I was back on my way.. I.. ran... Adrenaline had hit its peak..
