I was in maths today when we got our tests back because they'd been marked. A girl in my class really, seriously answered this question like I am about to show:
Q: The probability that a pot will crack while being fired is 0.03.
John has enough clay for 80 pots.
He receives an order for 75 pots.
Does he have enough clay to make 75 pots without cracks?
Explain your answer:
A: "Not been funny right but if you throw a pot against a wall as hard as you can its gonna crack innit so this is a bit of a stupid question if you ask me."
I won't say her name, but the person sat next to her passed it around the class. She was so embarrassed.
