Breathing is something many people take for granted. But there are people who realize that the 'catch in your breath' and the word 'breathless' are all very real statements.
Have you ever been 'breathless'? Have you ever 'forgotten I breathe'? If so imagine that five or six times over. Imagine drowning in suffocation.
Now imagine shattering, like glass or pottery. The shattering of a heart and the subsequent frantic attempt to gather all the pieces. The futile attempt to make yourself whole, so that only a master can see the faint cracks and missing minuscule pieces that stuck into the soles of your bare feet.
Now imagine a candle. Imagine a gust lighting up the room with that same light, a shining inferno of hope. Of purification and guidance.
Because once you re-kiln your heart and glaze it over tightly even a master won't be able to tell that at one point all you were was a mad scramble to appear collected and whole.
