By the LIGHT of the bright PAPER MOON, The lonely mouse searched for a new home. It was too COLD and cramped in his little den, So out in the SNOW he did roam.

His tiny little mousy feet, Were frozen on the winters ground; He scuttled to the icing sugar coated FOREST, Where a pair of black sheepskin BOOTS he found.

"This will make a fine home for little ole me, I think I will try it out for size." When he heard a CRUNCH upon the forest floor, It was another little mouse with the biggest, prettiest eyes.

WORDS failed the little brown mouse, At the sight of her snowy beauty. But she said, "Shall we try it out together?" Then she winked, the little cutie.

So they crawled into the sheepskin boots, And huddled out of the cold together. The little mouse felt so CONTENT, It mattered no more, about the snowy weather.

By the light of the paper moon, They were safe from the cold and harm; Snuggled together in an old pair of boots, They fell asleep in each others arms.
