Oh what a busy day it was today The wicked hath no rest Went to work in my makeshift pyjamas I wish I could of stayed in bed
But we had a very special visitor That made the kiddies go wild A big yellow bear named Pudsey That enamoured every child
The BBC reporter came with a big black microphone We tried to keep it a secret But word spread on the telephone
I have to say I was perturbed When Pudsey was getting ready I saw his head lying on a table It made me a little unsteady
But he made a great big entrance The children shouted with glee I ran around taking photos Escaping the man from the BBC
Our head was the one who was interviewed I thought she did rather well Then the head boy and girl They were also rather swell
When the excitement was over I still had my presentation to do Standing in front of the governors With jim jams covered in glue
Still I was professional Still I was ace of base But did anyone tell me before hand That I had chocolate on my face!
Of course the teachers didn't They thought they'd have a bit of fun But one day I will get my revenge I'm not one to be outdone!
