It's Christmas Eve.
Carrot for Rudolph Whiskey for dad Mince pie for Santa That's all we had.
A present or two Under the tree Not much money Had our family.
A little orange Perhaps a pound note Maybe some Lego From the letter we wrote.
But we were together On Christmas Day Our parents made it special Come what may.
Dressed up for lunch Games to play Morecambe and Wise special On Christmas Day.
Halcyon days Of Christmas past Those are the memories That I wish would last.
