My oh my, I have the weekend free, No kids, no hubby, just me, me, me!
I'm very excited, I'm very pleased, Just how much in this time, can I actually squeeze.
No need for a quick rinse, wash-o-matic today, Plenty of time to get ready, way hey!
You see, I've got a special party to attend; No kids allowed, and I won't leave them with a friend.
My sister in law is (sshhh) 40 today, So I'm staying out all night and all the next day.
I don't fancy shopping, although... nah, I have enough boots, I've even started reading that great pile of books.
I've packed my bag and I'm ready to go, Been creative with writing, it seemed to flow.
I messed about on my new iPad, I'm hooked on 'The Room'; Puzzles and riddles to me, are like a sweet perfume.
So now, what is a girl to do, Ironing, housework, followed by a brew?
I think tomorrow, I'll go see a flick, Take my nephew, so I'm not a lonely chick.
That's assuming I'm not hungover again; Surely my last drinking promise, won't be in vain.
So tomorrow, if my weekly challenge is late, You'll know I had a good time, and the party was great.
