So the Oracle has two kiddies like me. But her eldest is only 5 and her baby is a few months younger than mine. I know, perhaps there was something in the water in my street.
Well, when her eldest was younger, around about 2 or 3 I think she was always telling me over the garden how slow he was to talk and he was always so quiet. Which indeed he was. Ask him a question or have a bit of fun and he'd just pout. But.... at no time did she consider this may have been due to the fact that he still had a plug in his mouth at three years old! ( my affectionate name for pacifiers/dummies call them what you will)
Of course he's quiet, there's a bit of plastic in there stopping any intelligible sound coming out! And... when he does say anything we can't understand him as he's talking with a plug in his gob.
Needless to say he's a lovely little chap now but he's loud and needs a haircut.
